In excess of 25 years experience in Business Management, Systems & Procedures. Wide-ranging experience in the Medical Device Industry and Medical Device Regulatory Affairs, Management Representative for Quality Management Systems and EU Authorised Representative (EU REP) services. Anthony is also a Board Member of the influential European Association of Authorised Representatives (EAAR).
Polina Sobolevskaia
Business Administration Supervisor
Polina, originally from Russia, joins the Advena team as a Business Administrator after completing her MBA in Business Administration in the UK and BA in Accounting in the USA. Having 10-years of experience in customer service and medical office management in the USA, her major role and responsibilities include the facilitation of business administration tasks and customer account management within the Malta office.
Anna Galluzzo
Regulatory Consultant (Lead) & PRRC
A medical device consultant with extensive knowledge of the medical device regulatory field with a PhD, a MSc and a BEng in Biomedical Engineering. Also experienced in compiling and reviewing technical documentation for a variety of medical devices and IVDs in compliance with MDR/IVDR.
Abigail Psaila
Operations Manager & PRRC
A medical device consultant with a BEng in Electrical Engineering and experience in compiling technical documentation for various industries including medical, automotive and automation. Now focusing on compiling and reviewing technical documentation covering a variety of medical device and IVDs in compliance with the regulations. Abigail is also the Quality Manager and Management Representative for Advena.
Sam Attard
Regulatory Consultant
Graduated with a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Sam brings with him a strong academic foundation combined with a growing passion for the medical device sector. He has developed extensive knowledge in compiling and organizing technical documentation, with a particular focus on regulatory and compliance requirements that are essential for market access.
Valerie Borg
Business Administrator
Born and raised in Australia and now enjoying a new lifestyle in Malta. Has over 20 years of experience in Business Administration and Customer Service.
Marie Vella
Junior Regulatory Associate
Marie is from Gozo and is currently a pharmaceutical technology student at the University of Malta.

Originally from Poland, Agata brings a wealth of experience and a strong professional background in administration. Over the years, she has developed extensive expertise working across a wide variety of industries both in London and Malta.
